Amazon Culture of Innovations
Amazon has a peculiar approach to innovation that is intrinsically linked to how we use technology, and organise our teams. In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to how we innovate at Amazon, organized around four interdependent elements: Culture, Mechanisms, Architecture, and Organisation.
You’ll have the chance to dive deeper on each topic, including Leadership Principles, Working Backwards, and 2-Pizza Teams! The workshop will be of tremendous use to anyone who would like to learn and grow with digital innovation.
As we work with our customers at AWS, they have often asked us, “How does Amazon innovate?” In this session, we will share what our culture of innovation is, what we’ve adopted, and the lessons we’ve learned over time.

Bashar Yaieesh, AWS Partner Sales Leader
Bashar Yaieesh is the AWS Partner Sales Leader, leading a team of Partner Account Managers focused on developing and growing the Independent Software vendors (ISVs) business with AWS. Prior to this role, Bashar was.
Bashar was a 19-year veteran of Oracle, held several senior positions in Ireland, UK, Canada and UAE, including Sr. Director of Sales at Oracle Systems ltd, where he was invaluable in introducing Software As a Service (SaaS) to customers across the Gulf region
Bashar received his MBA from the University of Sheffield and his BSc in Industrial Engineering from University of Jordan. Bashar also obtained The Executive Leadership Degree from IESE Business School in Spain.
